Send me to DC! [day 7]

Whoops, I let a couple days of tracking slide. Here are the numbers as of Sunday:

The Animal Cracker Nature Show - 1229

The Experimental Generation - 808

STOP! Think Green and Save - 217

Hm.

Day 3 Results:

Animal Cracker Nature Show - 968

The Experimental Generation - 632

STOP! Think Green and Save - 135

Only 170 votes yesterday for ACNS? Quite a drop off, indeed. I think it’s pretty set in stone now, so yeah. I’ll probably keep updating this just to measure the trends.

Day 2 (and change) Results:

Animal Cracker Nature Show - 797

The Experimental Generation - 587

STOP! Think Green and Save - 116

So, somehow… the Animal Cracker Nature Show got 450 votes in just a day’s time. That’s really interesting, because I’m very suspicious of malfeasants.

Right now I’m pulling for the judges’ vote to get first place because I don’t want to get suckered into this voting fraud… I mean, please keep voting, but let’s keep it honest.

And thank you all for your support so far, I’ve gotten many wonderful comments and they’re all very encouraging!

Day 1 Results:

The Experimental Generation - 391

Animal Cracker Nature Show - 340

STOP! Think Green and Save - 18

So we have a small margin lead so far! Please vote again! It looks like you need to wait 24 hours, or something, so just check back to the site a couple times a day and vote when it finally lets you. Click Lincoln for the link!

Sooo…. voting’s up!

Please vote daily!

Each day, I’ll post the stats of the voting and move this to the top as a gentle reminder.

As far as the general state of things, I misread and the PSA Beat the Buzzer did not make it on, which is sad news, but expected.

The Experimental Generation, as you just voted for (right…?), is up for both finalist and 2nd place… kinda. There’s a panel of official judges that are looking over films and they’ll pick the one that wins $5,000 and gets first place, and what everyone is voting for is 2nd place and $1,500… which is an excellent consolation prize, in my opinion.

I’m pretty excited and it’s making studying for finals pretty frustrating!

So it’s obvious the crappy stop motion guy got some friends together and did major voting hax.

Oh well, tbch, those other vids are quite crap and don’t have anything (or much) to do with protecting the environment and are humorous/entertaining at the same time.

The judges will (or should) pick yours hands-down.
