Daily Bliss #7
- Hugs - To know that people value my hugs is like a hug in itself.
- Tsotsi - This movie is so phenomenal. I’m writing a critical analysis of the cinematography for my Film Application, and I watched it tonight for the third time. It’s still powerful emotionally, visually, and aurally. Please see this music video for a sample of the soundtrack. I think you’ll be impressed.
- Elite Beat Agents - Makes having a Nintendo DS even better. Ludicrous comic situations like helping a taxi driver deliver a woman in labor to the hospital without the cops giving him another ticket, and you help him by tapping along to the beats of silly songs like “YMCA” and “sk8r boi”. Fits my sense of humor.
- Westbrook’s Heart - We lost today in the Final Four, but while most of the team gave up in the last half, I saw a fight in Russell Westbrook that was really admirable. While Darron Collison was giving up tacky fouls and turning the ball over, Westbrook was saving face and keeping the team from embarrassing themselves. Good man.
- East Coast Friends - I found out friends from Georgetown and University of Pennsylvania will be joining me next Tuesday night at the National Geographic thing, and it pleased me to know they’re making the effort and taking time out of their schedules to hang out (coming from Philly is a bit more than just a little time out, too). Really cool that even though we can go a year without seeing each other, there’s still the friendship bond.

Darren. Tacky is a good word though.
