I haven’t done much in a while, I know. I’ve had some weekends away, an award ceremony, a retreat, and now a hell-ish Film App (summary post coming after its completion), so while I have been doing things, they’re not things that I can actively post on my website and spam you about, so it doesn’t feel like I’ve done anything.

Anyway, the app is … well, it’s not going that smoothly, but regardless of what I think about it, it will be done Friday around noon since it’s due, and that should be the release of much of the creative pressure behind the dam. I’ve done these lists before, so maybe you’re used to them, but here’s another one of things I plan on doing in the next month, month and a half.

1. Sharpie Shoes Sequel - It is coming because the shoes are approaching their untimely end and I must show that I’ve improved my technique (animation, not sharpie) in the last 14 months… Lighting, better tripod, etc.
2. Action Movie Extended Sneak Preview - Funky little short where we shoot an action scene at the Festival of Books. A couple more surprises about it, but I don’t want to give it all away.
3. Cloverfield Rip-off - It won’t be nearly as shaky and the animation budget will be $0, but it will probably be just as amusing.
4. Sole Mates - I will need everyone’s help (and everyone’s shoes) for this one. Some weekend in the near future we’ll all walk down to Westwood to film it

There’s also a short film in the works with a friend from resTV, and we might actually put together a budget and make it professional-y and stuff.
